Boxing Day is December 26, the day after Christmas, and is celebrated in Great Britain and in most areas settled by the English including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Africa. Many people in the U.S. enjoy celebrating this holiday too.

To give thanks, Hope for Lives in Sierra Leone, and Save the Nation provided boxes of food for lunch to the Montgomery Avenue Women’s Center, (a women’s shelter) in Rockville, Maryland. MAWC provides services exclusively for homeless women. The shelter's mission is to help women achieve self-sufficiency and build self-confidence.

This Boxing Day was a great opportunity to partner with Save the Nation and MAWC to give back  to local women in need because our brothers and sisters in the U.S. need our help too!
